The Windhoek Eye Institute was established in 2006 by Dr. Paul Nakashololo, a Namibian Ophthalmologist, and was initially called the Windhoek Eye Clinic.
The Institute grew with leaps and bounds, to its current status as number one private eye hospital in Windhoek.
